Jessamyn Schaller

I am an Associate Professor of Economics in the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Research Affiliate at IZA.

My fields are health, labor, public, and demographic economics. Specifically, my research has focused on the effects of aggregate economic conditions and parental employment on health and child welfare. I am also interested in exploring the determinants of fertility and marriage and in documenting socioeconomic disparities in the impacts of recessions, the incidence of public programs, and access to healthcare.
